Welcome to the website of the 209th Bristol Scout Group.
We are based in the Lockleaze area of Bristol but have members from some other areas of North Bristol. We run Beavers, Cubs and Scouts covering from age 6 to age 14.
Despite the still fairly wideheld belief Scouting is not just for boys. Both girls and boys take part in Scouting and new members are welcome.
The Group operates the following sections:
Because of the way it is structured the Group does not operate an Explorer Unit (ages 14 to 18) but we are very closely linked to Northwinds Explorer Scout Unit which is based nearby and sometimes uses the 209th Bristol Scout Group Headquarters.
